What is a Day to Dream?
Dr. Greg Jones introduced “Day to Dream” as part of the inaugural Hope Summit in 2022. As important as it is to spend time planning and working, Dr. Jones emphasized the importance of coming together in joy and renewal.
Day to Dream is for everyone in our community. It’s a day to be in community, to create life-long memories of joy and to celebrate.
Day to Dream 2023
This year, we invite you take a break from the busyness of your day-to-day, embrace a bigger story and DREAM BIG!
Take time to experience the joy of carnival rides, live music, games, childhood stories and a little magic. Leave feeling more inspired about your own story as you connect with others.
Campus will come to life with fall carnival favorites like a pumpkin patch, tractor rides, s’mores and campfires. And, the giant Ferris Wheel makes its return to campus!

Dr. Jones will take the stage to kick off the Day to Dream celebration.
11 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.
Pumpkin Palooza
Location: Bell Tower Patio & Quad
Belmont’s fall tradition, Pumpkin Palooza, takes over the Bell Tower Patio and historic lawn with more pumpkins than ever! Tractor rides will take place on Circle Drive at the quad until 3:30 p.m. – hop on for a ride!
11 A.M. – 6 P.M.
Day to Dream Carnival
Location: The Lawn and South Lawn
The Lawn and South Lawn will transform into the carnival of your dreams with a Ferris Wheel and carnival ride, inflatables, life size games, food trucks and live music!
4 P.M. – 6 P.M.
Storybook Path
Location: The Lawn and South Lawn
We will welcome several groups from our neighborhood to join in the celebration. Community groups, children and families will enjoy a storybook path hosted by Belmont campus offices, departments and student organizations.
